Bauhaus - Mask - Review

Bauhaus burst from a post-punk, Bowie-affected decade to help found what would eventually become known as goth rock. This follow-up to their well-received debut, In The Flat Field, is arguably more accessible than its predecessor; an evolutionary piece that sees the band push their music forward. Daniel Ash’s crashing guitar licks and Peter Murphy’s squirming vocals lie at the heart of a bizarre but rewarding album.
